Pastel Values April 1 - May 20, 2009 (Wednesdays, 1-4pm) — Responsive and immediate, pastels offer the painter pure pigment at their fingertips.This class celebrates the pastel medium in all its applications and approaches. Traditional techniques will be the foundation of instruction, but experimentation, particularly in underpainting, is encouraged. Class time will be spent in the studio, but field work and travel materials will be covered.
